Lansering og slippfester av Knut Roppestad sitt nye album «Rough Hope» Scroll-down for English
Etter to års av og på og opp og ned prosess med lek og hardt arbeid - er endelig albumet ferdig.
Plata heter «Rough Hope», og er en temaplate med 15 sanger og inneholder en time med originalmusikk. Stilmessig er americana et beskrivende ord. Mye akustisk og melodisk musikk.
Håper du og dere har lyst til å feire plata sammen med meg. Konserten blir i hovedsak akustisk.
Knut har med seg The Rambling Rodgers:
Egil Andersen på gitar og mandolin, Lene Svaleng på sang, Bjørn Lien på banjo og Morten Hansen på bass. I tillegg vil Asbjørn Husby på perkusjon og Einar Viken på ulike gitarer delta.
Knut Roppestad er en erfaren musiker og låtskriver aktiv i ulike sjangere – fra visesang til tungrock. Han har to album og to EP’er bak seg med utgivelser av egen musikk, men «Rough Hope» er hans første album som singer/song writer på egne bein. Han har spilt mye live, og blant annet spilt rundt i sørstatene i USA – alene og med bluesrock-bandet Shiverbone.
På slippfesten blir det mulighet til å kjøpe plata til 150,- kr og få den signert av Knut Roppestad.

Launch and release parties of Knut Roppestad's new album «Rough Hope»
After two years on and off and up and down the process of play and hard work - the album is finally finished.
Album is called «Rough Hope» and it is a theme album with 15 songs and includes an hour of original music. To describe the music with one word it would be Americana. The album contains a lot of acoustic and melodic music.
Hope you and your friends would like to celebrate the album with me. The concert will be essentially acoustic.
For the release parties Knut brings with him The Rambling Rodgers:
Egil Andersen on guitar and mandolin, Lene Svaleng on vocals, Bjørn Lien on banjo and Morten Hansen on bass. In addition, Asbjørn Husby on percussion and Einar Viken on different guitars are participating.
Knut Roppestad is an experienced musician and songwriter active in various genres - from folk to heavy rock. He has two albums and two EP's behind him with releases of his own music, but «Rough Hope» is his first album as a singer / songwriter on its own. He has played a lot live, and among other things, played around the southern states in the U.S. - alone and with blues-rock band Shiverbone.
